Live Oak County Park, located at 2746 Reche Road in Fallbrook, California, is a 27-acre natural retreat renowned for its ancient oak groves and rich cultural history. Once inhabited by the Luiseño people, the park still features bedrock mortars used for grinding acorns, offering visitors a glimpse into the area's indigenous heritage. Today, the park serves as a community hub, offering amenities such as softball and soccer fields, basketball and volleyball courts, two playgrounds, and six reservable picnic areas. A 3,000-square-foot leash-free dog park, open Thursday through Tuesday, provides a dedicated space for canine companions. The park's amphitheater and dance pavilion make it a popular venue for weddings and special events, accommodating up to 250 guests. Open daily from 8:00 AM to sunset, with pedestrian access available from sunrise, Live Oak County Park invites visitors to explore its scenic trails, enjoy recreational activities, and connect with the natural and historical essence of Fallbrook.
