Welcome to The Haven in East San Diego. We welcome you to enjoy our home featuring (at no additional cost) a custom glass tiled outdoor jacuzzi, two hammocks, movie wall, 2 fire pits, TV's in every room and outdoor TV, complete outdoor furniture, fully equipped kitchen and tons of great spaces to lounge inside and outside! Located just 20 minutes from the airport, downtown San Diego, the San Diego Zoo, La Jolla Shores (and a ton of other beaches) and more. The home is situated on a private road with only four other houses, this home has everything you need to enjoy your San Diego vacation!

This home is set up for families!

As you arrive, there is a large driveway with plenty of room for multiple vehicles. The house has been fully landscaped with very modern look inside and out.

As you walk to the front door, an electronic keypad for entry (code provided prior to check in) into a beautifully entry landing where you can see directly into the backyard. Vinyl floors, smart home, and modern design features invite you to the main living area, or outside to the custom-built backyard where you can find some peace, quiet and relaxation.

The living room is large with an open floorplan into the kitchen and dining areas, a large couch and a smart TV next to the fireplace with ALL the capabilities to stream whatever you'd like. The gas fireplace is easy to use and enjoy for the cooler evenings or morning coffee. There's also two additional gas firepits in the backyard which put off tremendous heat. The large dining area seats 8 with more seating at the kitchen counter (seats 3) and nook dining area (seats 6) near the kitchen.

The kitchen is very well stocked with all the cooking utensils, measuring cups, pots/pans, Instapot, rice cooker, coffee drip and expresso system, stove, oven, spices and oils and everything else you need to cook.  Paper towels, paper plates, cups, plates and everything you will need is provided, you just need to bring the food or food delivery service is available for an additional fee.

Outside you will find the custom glass tiled spa, patio lights, tons of seating areas and shade for adults and children. In addition, there are loungers, pool towels, two hammocks, movie wall, fridge, freezer, sink, hibachi grill, regular grill and two fire pits! There's a large outdoor dining table, large couch, bar stools and everything you need for outdoor dining. We also provide propane for the BBQ, and outdoor fire pits.

Guest bathroom has shower and dual sinks. Shower towels, washcloths, and hand towels are always provided as is shampoo, conditioner and body wash in all our bathrooms.

The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed with freshly cleaned sheets.  It's a super cute room with a dresser, walk in closet, and a nice wall art.  Super-fast Cox Wi-Fi and MESH system available in every room.

The master bedroom is HUGE. A king size bed with ultra comfortable sheets and comforter. There is a seating area, air purifier, three dressers, tons of natural light (and window coverings of course). There's even a wall mounted ironing board and iron setup for your use.

The massive master bathroom has a huge walk-in closet, dual sinks, a jacuzzi tub, and a large glass shower. All well-appointed and designed for your enjoyment and peace of mind while you travel!

There are two additional bedrooms, laundry room, and closet full of board games.

The first bedroom has a queen bed, wall mounted smart TV, desk for getting work done or hooking up a gaming device, decorative pictures, dresser and walk in closet.

The bedroom is a queen size bed that pulls out from the couch and two desks for getting some work done while traveling. There is a large, curved monitor that can easily connect to a laptop if you want! We also have a printer that guests are welcome to use if needed.

Another half bathroom with a toilet and sink is nearby all three rooms which are located on one side of the house and the master is located on the opposite end of the house.

The laundry room is near the kitchen and everything you need to do laundry is provided for you including detergent, dryer sheets (etc.).

Our family would love to host you. We love the traveling experience, and we want you to LOVE your time in San Diego!

You will have full access to the entire home, living room, full kitchen, as well as a large outdoor area, outdoor kitchen and jacuzzi. The backyard is equipped with synthetic grass, lounge chairs, a dining table, couch, hibachi grill, regular grill, freezer, fridge as well as other patio furniture. Outdoor movie wall is available but must bring your own projector.

You will have direct access to the owner either through the AirBNB inbox or personal cell phone.  Responding to guest requests during their stay is my number one priority.

**For your security and ours, there are three external security cameras. One at the front door, one in the driveway, and one in the backyard.**

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Brian was very quickly responsive and very helpful. Awesome person to meet! Beautiful home, very peaceful and we felt right at home. First of all... it is in San Diego !!! This location was AMAZING! Our host, Brian, was friendly and responsive from the moment we initially made our reservation, throughout our entire stay, and beyond our check out time. This location has something for everyone. The home is beautifully designed with space to relax and enjoy, set back off the street at the base of a hillside offering privacy with a beautiful sunset view. The location descriptions are accurate and provide the guest with a clear picture of what to expect. Each bedroom offered the guest a place to rest with darkening shades and curtains to prolong the break of daylight which is wonderful when you are on vacation and not working with a timed schedule ;) The backyard... just WOW! The outdoor kitchen was well used during our stay as well as the outdoor spa, hammocks, firepit and seating areas. So many options! I would absolutely recommend staying at this location! Absolutely amazing!

This place is gorgeous and peaceful. Great place to spend quality time for the family and what a beautiful setting. The outdoor space is even inviting more you imagined it - but you can come in and enjoy sitting in the living room to unwind too. Loved this place. my new bride and I stayed in Brian‘s place for three nights and we’re extremely satisfied with the condition and presentation of the place. The backyard was so nice and welcoming with the water feature and the Jacuzzi and the outside bar/barbecue. We love the walking bridge. We actually did our first look for the wedding pictures on that bridge over the rocks, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a secluded stay with privacy, quiet, and cleanliness. Brian is an amazing host who is extremely friendly and accommodating to his guests. Anytime I had questions he responded within minutes. The photos of this home were beautiful, yet we were still surprised and excited to see it in person, because it was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. It was a very relaxing vacation for us due to its serene and quiet location. In the mornings we would enjoy a cup of coffee in their backyard oasis, and in the evenings a nice cocktail with a gorgeous view of the east county hills and amazing California sunsets. It is an easy drive to downtown San Diego and SeaWorld, only about 10 miles or so. We will definitely be staying here again when we return for our next family visit. Highly recommended. You won’t be disappointed with anything!

Brian was a great host and was very responsive! The home and backyard is beautiful and there is so much space! My family flew in for a wedding in San Diego and had a great time in Brian’s home. There was some miscommunication on having guests over and we do apologize for the miscommunication we never meant to break any rules or be dishonest! We are super happy with our stay in this beautiful house, and wished we had time to stay longer. Indoor was great, super clean and lovely with lots of social space and definitely fully equipped. But the outdoor area is definitely the highlight, with a really nice outdoor kitchen/bar with bbq area, great seating areas and the nice pool amoung other things. near the road still calm and secluded. Highly recommended!!

Brian’s home was a beautiful private haven for our family staycation and son’s high school graduation celebration. Kitchen is gorgeous with top appliances. We prepared and stored food for easy access on the day of our event. Fully stocked game closet that kept kiddos (toddler to teens) entertained during our 5 day stay. The home is spacious, offering room to sprawl out! Primary suite a dream. The jetted tub was perfect for kicking off the week. Fast internet for all streaming needs. While we had full access to the backyard for our staycation, we were also able to rent the backyard space from Brian on Peerspace to allow for 50 guests for our celebration! Easy process! Brian’s backyard had plenty of shade for every guest to sit comfortably and mingle. The outdoor kitchen and grill setup fantastic! Grass area awesome for kiddos to play and run! Everyone complimented the property and how well maintained it is. Our son LOVED his party. We hope to be back! Thank you again, Brian!

Brian is very personable, kind and has great communication. No matter the time you reach out, he is readily available and replies quickly. The home is absolutely beautiful! Comfortable beds, clean and he goes above and beyond to ensure that his guests are comfortable. My favorite was the master bath. Kudos for having spa like toiletries for use! From having supplies in the kitchen available for use, to toiletries, dishes, household supplies and even food if needed, I was blown away! The backyard felt like we were at a resort! Ample space, parking and he even has games available for use. Everything you'd need, Brian had available. He is definitely a super host in my opinion. Highly recommended!
